Built-In Breathing System · oxygen delivery upgrade

BIBS

An inhale-activated mask system that delivers close to 100% effective oxygen efficiency on every breath. BIBS is the Atlas One upgrade for buyers whose session goals depend on getting the most oxygen from every breath. The same chamber, the same pressure, but the mask delivers in time with your breathing instead of as a constant stream.

  1. 01

    Concentrator on, mask connected

The Atlas One AIO unit feeds oxygen into the BIBS mask circuit. The chamber pressurises around you in the usual way.

  2. 02

    Mask fits, you breathe in

The mask seals around your nose and mouth. As you inhale, the mask's demand valve opens and oxygen flows in: only when you breathe in, not continuously.

  3. 03

    Exhalation routes out

Your exhaled breath is exhausted out rather than lingering, so almost none of the oxygen is wasted between breaths.

  4. 04

    Session ends, mask cleans

Pressure releases, you remove the mask, and the silicone face piece gets a quick wipe. The BIBS circuit itself is sealed and doesn't need handling.

  • Buyers whose session goals depend on getting the most oxygen from every breath
  • Sessions where the contrast between 70% and 100% effective efficiency is decisive
  • Buyers who want oxygen matched to their breathing rather than a constant stream
  • Buyers stepping up from the Continuous Flow standard after a few months of use
Common questions

BIBS, answered.

Why is BIBS more efficient than Continuous Flow?

Continuous Flow streams oxygen at a steady rate, so some passes by in the gaps between your breaths. BIBS only releases oxygen when you inhale and exhausts your out-breath, so almost nothing is wasted. You breathe nearly all of the oxygen the system delivers: close to 100% effective per breath.

Is the mask uncomfortable?

It's a silicone face piece that seals around your nose and mouth. You'll feel it on, and the breathing is matched to your inhale rather than a constant stream, but most users settle into it within a few sessions.

How much extra is BIBS as an upgrade?

BIBS pricing is in your custom Atlas One quote. The exact figure depends on your chamber configuration and any other upgrades you're including. Get my custom plan and quote to see your number.

Can I do some sessions on Continuous Flow and some on BIBS?

Yes. With BIBS fitted you can still run a standard continuous-flow session. Some buyers use BIBS for their longer or higher-efficiency sessions and Continuous Flow for daily restorative ones. Your call.

Summary

BIBS (Built-In Breathing System) is an oxygen delivery upgrade on the Atlas One hard-shell hyperbaric chamber by Hyperbaric HQ. Like the standard Continuous Flow system, it delivers oxygen through a mask while the chamber holds pressure, but it is breath-matched: an inhale-activated demand valve releases oxygen only when you breathe in, and the exhaled breath is exhausted out, so almost none is wasted. That gives close to 100% effective oxygen efficiency per breath, against around 70% for Continuous Flow's steady, constant stream. BIBS is the upgrade for buyers whose session goals depend on getting the most oxygen from every breath; Continuous Flow remains the included standard. BIBS is priced in the buyer's custom Atlas One quote.
